Energy Capability Statement

Services we provide with regards to energy include;

We provide energy audits of buildings, facilities (including recreation centres, educational institutions, shopping centres), mining and mineral processing operations and other industries in accordance with AS/NZS 3598:2000. Our audits advise clients on the energy sources, patterns of consumption and opportunities for energy savings by practical and costed improvement initiatives.

We can draw on our wide range of knowledge and experience in regards to statutory reporting obligations in regards to energy efficiency and emissions reduction including the NGERS framework and the Carbon Pollution Reporting System (CPRS) to provide you specific advice.
We develop and provide "Energy Management Systems" in conjunction with our clients, to define a systematic program, with identified roles and responsibilities, for the management of energy across an organisation.
We conduct studies on "energy options" for the provision of energy for remote and regional energy users including mine sites, townships and communities. These studies review and assess available and practicable options for energy supply across a defined timeframe, energy security and the criticality of continuous supply and consideration of future developments and trends. The studies typically recommend one or more solutions to the energy requirements of the user(s).
We review technical performance and condition of assets involved in energy supply and distribution systems (e.g. electrical systems, rotating equipment, heat exchangers, control and instrumentation). These reviews include identification of shortfalls in performance and/or condition and recommendations to make improvements. Such reviews typically culminate in a report to a client.
We will assist by calculating your present energy use and advise whether or not you need to register with the EEO program. Our audits will identify the most energy intensive activities of your business and we will show you how to manage them effectively and improve efficiency. We will calculate energy efficiency gains and payback periods and present this information in a form suitable to go directly to the company directors. Improving energy efficiency will benefit your company's bottom line whether you are required to register with the EEO program or not.
We provide Accredited Professional services to developers and builders during the planning and construction phases of commercial buildings. This includes collating the requisite paperwork and provision of technical advice to provide the best possible outcome and the maximum star rating within the scope of the project.
