Alberfield
was commissioned to audit the greenhouse gas emissions and sinks from all parts
of Western Power Corporation in the financial years 2003/04 and 2004/05
including the greenhouse gas emissions from the proposed components of the
proposed desegregation of Western Power.
Work included completing the Generator Efficiency Standards reporting,
the National Greenhouse Gas Inventory reports and completing the Greenhouse Gas
emissions figures and the Greenhouse Response section of the 2004/05 annual
report.
As part of
the Cities for Climate Protection program, on behalf of the City of
Alberfield
was commissioned to conduct greenhouse gas emission audits for three Newmont mine sites within

fulfillment of the Australian Government's Kyoto Protocol commitments on
reduction of Australia's total greenhouse gas emissions.

Responsible for the definition and coordination of plant process control systems safety, performance and integrity reviews across Nickel Business Unit operations, including the preparation of tender packages and the assessment of tenders, feasibility studies, project management and reviews of project deliverables.
ICSGlobal / Boddington Gold Mine
Contracted
under ICS to Boddington Gold Mine to perform year
2000 compliance assessment and coordination of remediation of embedded and IT
systems in the mine’s total infrastructure. Work entailed preparation of
proposals, budgets, project schedules, reports, requests
for tender, tender evaluation, supervision of contractors and liaison with
vendors and stakeholders within the company and JV partner owners and operators
of the mine in delivering the project in accordance with the ICS Year 2000
Methodology adopted for the project.
Contracted under ICS to WMC Resources Ltd as DCS
Coordinator for the Company’s Year 2000 Project. Responsible for ensuring that DCS systems across the Company’s
Australian assets were year 2000 ready.
Principle
duties were project management and coordination to achieve the above. The work
involved preparation and administration of budgets, cost estimates, project
schedules, contracts and scopes of work to achieve this objective together with
collaboration with other project team members in the formulation and
implementation of strategies and a corporate methodology to achieve same. The
personal supervision, development and successful implementation of extensive
remediation & test programs, both off and on site, were integral to the
overall success of the project.
